Dr. Mark Muncy
He’s bald, funny looking, and he likes really dumb jokes. He’s also a great Pediatric Dentist that’s served Greenville, Greenville, Taylors, and Spartanburg, SC since 1998. Dr. Muncy really wants to be the best part of your child’s day. He’s all about having a great time and making your child laugh while sneaking in a little pediatric dentistry. And for those of you that are looking for his credentials, read on.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Mark Muncy entered the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. While studying dentistry, he participated in the American Student Dental Association. During that time, he was vice-president of the local chapter and responsible for organizing a free children’s dental clinic. Dr. Muncy interned at Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he confirmed his desire for further training in the growth and development of children. Finally, Dr. Muncy served as president of the Christian Medical and Dental Society for the University of Kentucky in his last two years of dental school. Upon graduating from Kentucky, Dr. Muncy obtained a commission as an officer in the U.S. National Guard. That same year, he entered the University of Iowa for postdoctoral training. At Iowa, he focused on the growth and maturation of infants, children, and teens.
Dr. Muncy joined Pediatric Dentistry PA in July 1998. Since that time he has been involved in local, state, and national dental organizations. These include the Piedmont District Dental Society, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Southeast Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Academy and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
His philosophy with dental care is simple: treat the child, not just the teeth. His goal is to provide comprehensive care to all patients, while building self-esteem and self-confidence in each child.
Dr. Muncy is married to Amy Dunbar Muncy. They have five children.

Kathy
Cleans teeth and occasionally samples the ice cream for quality and freshness.
Jennifer
She makes sure Dr. Muncy has a full serving of dumb jokes, she cleans teeth, helps in the operating room, and does restorative care.
Beth
Spends her time at the front desk making sure everyone has a great visit.
Erin
You’ll see Erin in the afternoon and she cleans teeth.
Felicia
She’s been here longer than Dr. Muncy, she’s Dr. Muncy’s right hand gal, and you’ll see her helping with restorative care.
Kema
You’ll see Kema at the front desk when you check out and she’ll help with return appointments.
Kim
You might meet Kim at the front desk, or maybe see her when she’s cleaning teeth. She also helps Dr. Muncy with restorative care.
Synova
You’ll see her helping in the operating room and with restorative care.
Tonya
Tonya occasionally plays Tooth Fairy for school visits, she also cleans teeth and helps with restorative care.
Lucinda
Lucinda. She manages our friendly reminders when you're due for a check up and she's an important part of our front desk staff.
